My answers to reflection questions in Unit One 1.2

In my view, the history of Peace education, as contained in Unit One, does not address the efforts of other active contributors to the evolution of Peace education.
the efforts of ministers, lawyers and other activists with that of political leaders is not given enough mention.
Without the active contributions of the above mentioned groups, especially the political leaders, peace education might actually have taken longer to get to the point it is now.

  1. Hi Ibrahim,
Good point. I asked this question because it was nearly impossible for us to create a fully comprehensive history of peace education -as each region really has a history of its own with respect to peace education trends. Indeed, political leaders can play a key role. I wonder what political leaders you think should be part of the history of peace education?
